The winner is...

Hey there toons, Ricky again. Today I’m proud to announce we’ve finally come to a decision regarding if we’re going to reset toons. Over the last few weeks we’ve had multiple meetings and listened to hundreds of messages regarding the topic. I firstly just want to thank you all for commenting on this topic, it’s helped us come to our final decision. This decision deeply affects our playerbase so It’s not been easy coming up with a decision.
In this time we’ve deliberated amongst ourselves, and using compiled statistics from solely the affected users from the Altis days, we’ve gotten more than enough evidence, as well as our own personal convictions telling us that it would be in the best interest for everyone and the game’s launch to reset toons.
So how did we come to this decision?
One of the main points towards resetting was the fact there was an overwhelming vote. In fact 88% of people who voted on the blogpost (all former Altis players, mind you), voted reset. As it turns out there’s a lot more ‘high toons’ who voted for the reset rather than to not reset. Feel free to look below for an in depth look at the voting statistics.
How did you collect the statistics?
I hate to break this to you, but we didn’t count EVERY vote that was voted. There’s a few reasons why a vote could be counted as ‘invalid’. This can include, but not be limited to:
  • Saying you didn’t read the blog post
  • Not providing a valid username
  • Not hitting submit
The reason we asked for your Project Altis username was so we could locate your highest toon on the account and from there look at the stats for each side. It’s really interesting to me to see the different laff of toons that voted. And it really let us get a truly insightful look at the returning player base and their opinions that they’ve expressed.

So where’s our new content?
I’m glad to announce that work has officially started on the new quest line. Some of you in our discord server have spotted I’ve been working on the quest files.
Together Loopy and I have been losing sleep working on the new quest line. We’re really putting our best foot forwards in attempting to make this something special and refreshing, and I can’t wait for you all to experience it. I’m also glad to say work has also begun on the backend side of things, everything is starting to shape up and is almost ready to have that 1.0 version number stuck on it.
To those of you that feel upset about this decision. Understand that we feel your frustration. The reason we took our time in debating and releasing this information is because of you guys. We truly do hope you choose to stick through it with us, and we thank you for the time you’ve spent here with us formerly on Altis.
From everyone here at the Corporate Clash Crew, we want to thank you all for sticking with us and we can’t wait to show you EVERYTHING we’ve been working on.
Have a Toontastic weekend!
Ricky
