Elphabat: Because I was here first!

Hexadecimal: I thought we left every year?

Elphabat: This is accurate.

Hexadecimal: And we're returning now?

Elphabat: This is also accurate.

Hexadecimal: So neither of us are first then!

Elphabat: No, I meant like- never mind. What they're saying is correct, though.

Hexadecimal: I knew it!

Elphabat: I meant that we're back in Toontown!

Hexadecimal: Oh.

Elphabat: That's right, folks, your favorite batty besties are back in town for this year's spooky season! We've got all the usual spooktacular stocking stuffers that you've come to expect from us.

Hexadecimal: Wrong holiday!

Elphabat: Well, what did YOU have in mind?

Hexadecimal: All the new fixings for our rapturous return this year!

Elphabat: That IS spooktacular, isn't it?! While we're on the subject, I should discuss some of those new fixings.

Hexadecimal: Yeah, Elphabat's been doing some refurbishments as of late. She said to me that the place was looking a little... what's the word you used?

Elphabat: Dusty?

Hexadecimal: I think you said something about cobwebs but REGARDLESS, it was looking a little worse for wear. Well, wear no worse no more!

Elphabat: It has ALSO come to our attention that there are strange winds in the air. The ides of trick-or-treating present a new reward for you, a new appearance for that weird-looking thing you have on your necks.

Hexadecimal: I'm pretty sure we have those too.

Elphabat: What awaits you? You'll have to go Trick-or-Treating to find out.

Hexadecimal: Don't forget to save us some jellybeans!

Elphabat: But be warned, there is but one more matter you should know about. There is-

Hexadecimal: Actually, I think we covered everything.

Elphabat: Are you sure?

Hexadecimal: Yep.

Elphabat: Nothing else?

Hexadecimal: Nope.

Elphabat: I feel like we missed something.

Hexadecimal: ANYWAY, we're going to be roaming 'round town until the end of the Halloween festivities. Come on down and say hi - you won't regret it!

Welcome to the 1.5 update, along with the Halloween event! As announced previously, there are no event Manager Cogs to fight for the event this year, as we focus on permanent content. We however did manage to squeeze in a few new cosmetics, a game engine update and gave our servers a fresh coat of paint. The racing physics has also been updated, so we've opted to wipe the racing leaderboards - go and set a new record!

Trick-or-treating is back as well! Find the right shopkeepers and say the magic SpeedChat phrase, and you might just fetch yourself a swanky new Pumpkin Head cheesy effect. You can view all of the clues here!

We know this update is smaller than what you may be used to, but we hope you'll enjoy the Halloween spirit with us nonetheless, until it all ends on November 24th!
